How bad is Sugar (really) if you have a condition like Parkinson's? Is SUGAR a Black & White issue for Everyone?

Is SUGAR a Black & White issue for Everyone?
For "the skinny" on what's "black & white" about sugar, Let's ask the Sugar Panda!

Many of you may know, (because recently I've been Video posting all over social media about it) that Actor Ryan Reynolds is an advocate/ambassador for helping with Parkinson's, as his father passed with it after a 20 year battle, living with the disease.

And many of you may be familiar with Reynolds mist famous portrayal of the Red & Black clad character, Deadpool, but did you know that Reynolds is also the man behind the Black & White Bear who wants to protect us from what I quote in my book ("got Parkinson's?...are you sure?!?") as the Sociopath of the food world...
Sugar!

Yep, Ryan Reynolds' gas launched the Sugar Panda Campaign, to inform ALL of us, young and old, of the hazards of this high-fructose villain, not only for those like Ryan's father who had Parkinson's, but those with Parkinson's, or who'd be concerned about it in their future, should pay attention to the wisdom of... The Sugar Panda.

As for PwP's (People with Parkinson's), Sugar can affect people with Parkinson's disease (PD) in a number of ways, including:

CRAVINGS
People with PD often crave sweets and consume more fast-acting carbohydrates than people without PD... "Jonesing" for a dopamine like stimulation.

INSULIN RESISTANCE
High-sugar intake can lead to insulin resistance, which can contribute to diabetes, a factor that may cause progressive neurodegeneration in PD.

METABOLIC DISORDERS
Consuming too much sugar can cause metabolic disorders and increase inflammatory markers, which can lead to insulin resistance and chronic inflammation... And No one likes an inflamed brain or central nervous system

SYMPTOMS
Sugar can make some PD symptoms worse and can make it harder to sleep.

WEIGHT GAIN
Sugar can contribute to weight gain, which can make symptoms from other health issues worse.

MICROBIOME
The gut microbiome uses sugar as an energy source, and there is evidence that the microbiome and PD are related... Just check-out the last newsletter And the article about your Vagus nerve and Healthy gut relationship.

DOPAMINE
High-sugar intake may increase insulin concentration, which could influence dopamine concentration in the brain.

Some research suggests that limiting sugar intake may help with managing fatigue, slowing cognitive decline, and minimizing PD symptoms.

For All if us, with or without diagnosed PD, what does the Sugar Panda have to say about the sweet sociopath known as Sugar?

To quote Sugar Panda himself, "I'm Sugar, you can't 'Cancel' Me...
I'm in EVERYTHING!

Well, maybe you can't cancel Sugar so easily, but if its making the symptoms of your condition worse, maybe you won't have to say NO to Sugar, because soon enough, maybe your condition will cancel your subscription for you?!?
